Product Description & Reviews

Nava's 25-lb 1" Brominating Tablets are an effective sanitizer, very similar to chlorine, but is much less irritating than chlorine and is easier on your eyes and skin. Bromine tabs are EPA approved and are manufactured right here in the USA. They are ideal for indoor pools and spas, and also have less odor than chlorine based products. Each tablet is individually wrapped in 2 lb. bags, which makes for easier handling and dosing. Nava's Bromine Tablets are slow-dissolving and require an automatic feeder to evenly distribute into your pool or spa. Bromine kills living organisms, bacteria, and algae in your water. Nava's 1" Brominating Tablets are available in 25 lb. or 50 lb. bucket sizes.Directions for Use with Residential Pools: You will want to maintain a bromine residual 2-3 ppm at all times. Add 17 tablets per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 5-7 days. By using a floating tablet feeder or automatic brominator, you can adjust the amount of bromine entering the water at all times.Directions for Use with Spas: You will want to maintain a bromine residual of 2 ppm at all times. Prior to using Nava's Brominating Tables, add 1/2 ounce of sodium bromide for each 100 gallons of pool water. Add 3 tablets per 300 gallons of spa water by using a floating tablet feeder or brominator.Troubleshooting: Foaming can occur, this is due to the amount of spa use. Body fats, oils, and other contaminants can cause cloudiness. Using defoamers, clarifiers as well as shock, you should be able to get rid of the foaming. When removing cloudiness or foam, drain the spa, clean the walls, seats and floor and refill the spa.
