The PoolGuard floating Safety Buoy Pool Alarm is designed for use in any above ground pool including quick set, soft sided, and portable above ground pools as well as spa's and some small in-ground pools. The Safety Buoy is the only floating alarm NSF Certified to the ASTM F2208 Pool Alarm Standard. The Safety Buoy floats on the water and uses Sub-Surface detection technology to detect 18 or more pounds. It comes with an in-house remote receiver that works up to 200 feet away and a 12-volt power supply. Operates using just one 9-volt battery in the Safety Buoy and will beep once every 10 seconds when batter gets low. The Safety Buoy is tamper proof and can only be reset using the red key and will sound if removed from the pool. Once the Safety Buoy is installed in the pool it is always on and cannot be turned off. The Safety Buoy must be removed from your pool when you swim and must be put into sleep mode and placed on its storage stand away from your pool activity. PoolGuard Model: PGRM-SB.
